SEPTIC or SEWER

Do your (or your buyer’s) due diligence! – We are hearing more and more that a buyer bought a house, the MLS said sewer and a year after the property is closed the buyer (owner) has now found out the home is on Septic.  Well, the buyer could contact an attorney but that doesn’t necessariky help them now that they own the home.

Even if the listing says sewer and you are pretty sure it is sewer, it is still worth a call to the municipality or water company to find out.  Take the time to double check for your buyer especially if they do not want a home on septic or suggest they call and double check.
